I have no real idea of the actual locations of these pictures. I just shot them because it amazed me just how vast this country is and how many different landscapes there are in the United States.

I saw six forest fires the first I know was on the Utah and Wyoming border. The smoke from these fires stretched for hundreds and hundreds of miles.

The flight reminded me of the wonder I had ten years ago when I did this journey for the first time. Back then I spent the entire 11 hour flight from London just looking out of the window amazed at the world passing below.
