The Meanwhile webcam.
This is no reality TV show that's for sure, but it is perhaps an
opportunity to peer through a virtual window. StudioCam is always
on while RoverCam is used more infrequently. To switch between
the two cameras click on top picture under the words 'StudioCam'
or 'RoverCam' (More details below).
Image updates every 4 seconds
StudioCam is fixed
by my coffee machine in my studio. Every 4 seconds it takes a picture of
my chair and whatever I am doing in that chair at the time. I'm often sitting
there with strange looks on my face, and one thing I have noticed is that
I tend to play with my lips when I am thinking.
RoverCam is rarely
broadcasting. It's a mobile unit that I can set up almost anywhere.
RoverCam has broadcast pictures from various places, including my hotel room
in Chicago, The Revue Cafe in Fresno - California, The Atomic Cafe in Beverly
- Mass, as well as various different friends homes.
Other webcams
I appreciate that my webcams are pretty much about as boring as webcams come.
The BBC website has some links
to webcams in the region where I live. Those links aren't all that interesting
either, but lets be realistic here, webcams are rarely interesting.
